If we are to improve the Minnesota economy, we have to ensure that we are fostering a climate that attracts and retains high paying jobs for Minnesotans. In order to have a good business climate, we need to do a few things -

Make sure we have a reasonable and fair regulatory structure
Reduce government spending so we can free up capital for small businesses
Reduce and remove duplicative or outdated agencies that strangle entrepreneurship

In addition to these government reforms, we need to embrace opportunities like responsible mining. This not only brings additional revenue to government, it also brings jobs and opportunities for families who really need work in this economy.
